People often ask me how my perfect sunday looks like in the North of Fuerteventura. As the owner of La Isleta Studio, this is my personal favorite Sunday routine - combining early morning waves, my favorite local brunch spot, and a bit of afternoon creativity in El Cotillo.

Start Your Day with a Sunrise Surf Session

I love kicking off Sunday morning on the North Shore. There’s nothing quite like sitting on your board and watching the sun rise behind the volcanoes while waiting for the next set of waves - pure bliss. Whether you’re catching your very first wave or are a seasoned surfer, the  North Shoreoffers great conditions for every level.

Brunch in Lajares at Almirante

After working up an appetite in the water, my go-to spot is Almirante in Lajares for a well-deserved coffee and brunch. Their poached egg and avocado toast is top-tier, and the relaxed local atmosphere makes it the perfect place to refuel and recharge.

Prepare the next class at La Isleta Studio

In the afternoon I'm headed to La Isleta studio where I glaze and fire the ceramics pieces from the precvious pottery painting class and try out some new pottery painting techniques.

Golden Hour & Sunset at Piedra Playa

To wrap up the perfect day, I head down to Piedra Playa. Go for a refreshing evening dip in the sea, dry off on the sand, and watch the sun dip right into the Atlantic ocean.
